This project is my homage to Edward Gorey's Ghastlycrumb Tinies. I wanted to faithfully stage each panel using my own three children. It was done in the early days of Instagram hence the original square format. I uploaded a new image every week. At the very bottom you can see some of the original shots before editing. Edward Gorey lived in Cape Cod, MA, about an hour from me. I took this book down to his museum for the 50th anniversary of the original publishing. The curator LOVED the book and told me it was one of the best homages he had ever seen. They tried to put my book on display in the museum, which is located in Edwards home. In the end the "Gorey Estate" denied the display because it glorified one of his more controversial, albeit most famous, books. The curator was a personal friend of Edwards and told me that Edward himself would have loved the work!!!
